Jim Bell qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was admitted a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1978.

After gaining further general audit and taxation experience with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow, Jim joined the Stakis Organisation where he worked closely with companies in the licensed trade and leisure industries.

After a short spell in manufacturing, he returned to private accountancy practice, and established James Bell & Co in 1991.

Your initial consultation is free. We offer fixed-rate fees for services such as payroll and straightforward tax returns. Other tax and accountancy services are charged at an hourly rate, depending on the qualifications of the staff involved.

Do you provide tax and accountancy services for start-ups, or companies planning to expand?

If you are just starting your business, or are planning expansion or acquisitions, we have the experience and expertise to guide you through the whole process.

When can we meet to discuss your tax and accountancy services?

Our office hours are 8.45am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday, but appointments to discuss our taxation and accountancy services and how we can benefit your business can be made outside these hours, if that suits your diary.
