The deadline for submitting the paper version of your Self Assessment Tax Return is closing in.

For 2016 Tax Returns the deadline for submitting the paper versions is the 31st October 2016. This means that your copy of the Self Assessment should reach HMRC by the 31st October. If it does not reach HMRC in time you may be subject to a penalty fee of upwards of £100.

However if you are registered to submit your Self Assessment Tax Return online, you will have more time to submit it to HMRC, as the deadline for submitting it is 31st January 2017.
